GOOD GOVERNMENT IS OPEN GOVERNMENT
In a democracy, we have the right to know exactly what our elected officials are doing. We have the right to know what they are considering and how they're spending out tax money. It just makes sense that a free society requires free information.
In fact, Kentucky has very strict laws that require state, local and county officials to allow Kentucky citizens access to official documents, records and meetings. There are only a few exceptions that allow agencies to prevent you from seeing records or attending meetings.
If you think a state, local or county official is illegally keeping you from seeing official records or keeping you out of an official meeting, I can help. Contact me to discuss how we can work together to protect your rights.
