My name is Frank Dempsey. I'm an Attorney. I've been in or around State Government in Frankfort for most of my life. I've worked for the legislature, the Attorney General, Circuit Judges, the Revenue Cabinet, the Personnel Cabinet, and the Departments of Insurance, Juvenile Justice and Housing, Buildings and Construction.
I've prosecuted people and revoked their licenses. I've defended people from corrupt practices. I've acted as a hearing officer and judge. I've taken over insurance companies. I've written judicial opinions. I've written administrative regulations and pushed them through the adoption process. I've drafted statutes and lobbied them through the legislature. I've held Personal Service Contracts and administered them. I've fired people and defended people who were to be fired. I've helped everyone from multi-national insurance company CEO's to plumbers accomplish their goals in Kentucky State Government.
